GreenTech vs. CleanTech

The depletion of resouces to satisfy the need of the growing population on the face of earth is the main challenge the humanity is facing today.  As resources are limited, the only multiplier to slove these challenges is to apply technology or techniques. At this point the notion is that Technology is the only multiplier that we can bet on. But in betting on that it must be capitalism-based. We cannot continue investing just for learning or feeling good. The state subsidies are meant for some political reason or other or even to have a kick-start but the venture needs to be on the main street of Moore’s curve. Recently Vinod Khosla mentioned that it is MainTech not CleanTech. What it means needs to be explored and commercialized at the same time. Happy Investing!!
